Developers for THE LIVMOR, a 12 floor luxury new development condominum building being built in Harlem, have hired Celebrity Interior Designer and Credentialed LEED Expert Cathy Hobbs (ASID/LEED AP) to design its lifestyle and entertainment areas.
Williamsburg, Brooklyn based Celebrity Interior Designer Cathy Hobbs (ASID/LEED AP) is pleased to announce being selected to design the common areas for one of Harlem’s most prestigious luxury new condominum buildings, THE LIVMOR.
Hobbs has been retained to design the lobby, hallways, multi-purpose room, gym, and children’s playroom for the project being developed by Joy Construction and Exact Capital. “I’m unbelievably excited and honored to have been chosen from a very talented pool of interior designers. I am very much looking foward to creating a spectacular design from a pure blank canvas,” says Hobbs.
THE LIVMOR is set to begin sales in the early summer of 2009. The project is being marketed by Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy’s New Development Division.
Cathy Hobbs is the owner of the Willamsburg, Brooklyn based interior design firm aphereä (www.apherea.com), the host and executive producer of NY Residential TV (www.nyresidentialtv.com) and the featured design columnist for New York Living Magazine (www.newyorklivingmag.com).
Cathy is also a LEED AP, credentialed by The U.S. Green Building Council for her exceptional knowledge and expertise in sustainable and green design. She is the first and only LEED AP Home Stager in New York City.
Currently there are 77,000 LEED AP’s in the entire country, only 3,000 of them interior designers.
