After a two month blog break (we are preparing to launch an exciting new site) I am back with a true transformation!

I recently had the honor and privilege of staging and re-designing the NYC residence of one of the most celebrated author’s of our time, the home belonging to the late Maurice Sendak.  Sendak if you don’t recognize the name is the author of the famed children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are” — the tale with its’ grotesque creatures was revolutionary when released in the 1960’s and the sale of his Manhattan home is significant in its’ own right as well. Listed at just over three million dollars by power broker Scott Harris of the Harris Residential Team at Brown Harris Stevens, the Sendak property is not only a unique piece of Manhattan real estate but a true historic treasure.
