Today’s Tuesday tip comes from my desire and passion to lead a healthier, more environmentally-friendly lifestyle. And while we may not all be as green as we could or should be, here are some fun, easy tips on how to reuse household items!

1. Paper bag as wrapping paper!

I love this look. It’s so easy, any paper bag will do because even if one of the sides has writing or pictures on it, if you flip it upside down, you’ll have a beautiful brown canvas to play with! You can stamp on dots, use fun bows–whatever your heart and creative mind desires!

2. Jelly jars for bathroom storage!

These jars are so cute to begin with so having them around the bathroom will not make it look cluttered! Fill them with anything from vitamins to cotton swabs to floss picks!

3. Toilet paper roll becomes garden planters!

Not only are these eco-friendly, but they also are cute and will hide under the ground/soil brilliantly! Easy thing to do with toilet paper rolls, wrapping paper rolls, or paper towel rolls!

4. Coffee cans to tool holders.

This is one tip I love. Everyone has coffee cans in their household and instead of tossing them, why not reuse them and amp up the design level on them! Add your favorite wrapping paper or scrapbook paper around the can to hide the coffee label.

5. Tic Tac containers for your spices!

I love this idea not only because it’s super easy and affordable but because it’s genius! You can easily tap out how much spice you want for your dishes with the little Tic Tac opening. The clear white top is perfect for writing titles on.

What are your favorite eco-friendly tips? What items in your household do you reuse?
